On July 4th, 2007, the Americas Museum opened at the FuLe International Ceramic Art Museums (FLICAM) site in Fuping, Shaanxi, China. The Americas Museum is the 5th museum of FLICAM to open in the past three years. Several additional ceramic museums will be contructed in the next few years.

Ken and six other artists from the United States produced clay art work in the Art Pottery Village next to FLICAM during the month of June prior to the opening.

Many other American clay artists had also worked at the Art Pottery during earlier months. The combined results were exhibited in the United States portion of the museum. Canadian and Mexican artists will also be making work in the near future for the museum.
