In July, 1983, I had an exhibit of my Desert Period wall sculptures In the Morris Gallery of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.

In September, 2015, I exhibited a group of wall works in the Martin Art Gallery at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. The show was titled Ken Vavrek: Past and Present and included work from the Desert Period, Sculptural Abstractions and the recent Pictorial Abstractions.

In January/February, 2016, I exhibited work similar to that shown at Muhlenberg with an additional wall work and some Desert Vessels on pedestals.
